Overview
All Schoolloop sites contain a header and footer along with District Level Top and Botton Wrappers. Often the term Top wrapper is interchangeably used with the term header and the term Bottom Wrapper is mixed with the footer.
It is essential to distinguish between the District level wrappers and the header and footer for a school site in order to make the changes you require in the correct place.
Information
The District Level Top wrapper appears above the header and the Bottom wrapper appears below the footer for a school site. Changes made to the header and footer for a school site are local to a particular school and can be managed by accessing the Site Center and clicking the Header and Footer option.
If you would like certain content to be displayed on every school's Header and Footer within a district, then this is where the District Level Top and Bottom Wrappers come in. Changes made to the Top and Bottom Wrappers are made through the Admin Center. Once the changes are made to the District Level Top and Bottom wrapper, these appear on every school site. The Top wrapper content would appear above the Header of the school sites whereas the Bottom wrapper would appear below the footer of the school sites.
Unlike the changes to the Header and Footer for a school site which appear instantly, the changes to District Level Site wrappers may take 3-5 minutes before they appear on all school sites within the District.
