As an admin, you may need to create accounts with read-only access. These accounts can be used by interns, for example, when working with someone from the School.
The best fit for a read-only access account is a staff account. They will have access to student information but won’t be able to edit or change anything.
To create a staff account, follow the steps in the article Creating New User Accounts in School Loop.
It's worth mentioning that these will be independent accounts; in other words, the person in charge of these read-only accounts will not be able to view their account if they are a staff member, only an admin can do it.
For a better understanding of what can be done with a staff-type account, you may impersonate any of your Staff users' accounts and check what they have access to and what they don't. To impersonate the accounts, please follow the Logging as Another User for Admins article, please keep in mind that you need to have an Admin account to do it.
