Overview
You are a System Administrator who would like to send emails to a specific group of Students belonging to a Teacher's Course so that there is no need to select/type each individual name.
Solution
- Login to your School Loop System Admin account.
- Access the required Teacher's profile by auto-logging in as the Teacher. This will open the Teacher's School Loop portal in a new window/tab in the browser.
- On the Teacher's logged in page, click
View All
next to theStudent Tracker
. - Click on the desired Tracker to open it. This is the group of Students to whom you want to send the LoopMail.
- Click on
Download Tracker
under theToolbox
section. Save the CSV file. - Return to your System Admin account by closing the Teacher's School Loop portal's window/tab.
- Click on the
Your Portal
icon in the top-left corner of the page, which will take you to your portal's homepage:
- Click
View All
next to theStudent Tracker
. - Click
Add Tracker
. - Provide a
Name
andDescription
for the Tracker. - Click
Create
. - All the Trackers (as seen after step 8) are displayed along with the newly created Tracker. Open the newly created Tracker by clicking on it.
- Click
Upload Members
under theToolbox
section. - Click
Choose File
, select the CSV file that was downloaded in step 5, and clickUpload
.
Testing
LoopMail can be sent from your System Admin account to the users available in the newly created Tracker using the Solution steps from the Sending LoopMail Message to All Students/Parents on a Course article.
