Overview
You may face an issue where you're unable to log in to your School/District website because of a system error:
Information
- Try viewing the site in another supported browser and/or in incognito mode as well. If it works in another browser or in incognito, it means the issue is with the particular browser you were using, and it is recommended to clear cache, temporarily disable other extensions, reach out to your internal IT support team as it's not a School Loop issue.
- Check the School Loop status page for a known outage with the SchoolLoop environment or if there is any Scheduled maintenance going on that could lead to the kind of problems you are experiencing. If the Status page lists an incident then rest assured that our Infrastructure team is already working on fixing it as their top priority. On the Status page, you can also "Subscribe to Updates" so that you will be notified through an email whenever School Loop creates, updates, or resolves an incident.
- Another reason could be an outage with our service provider, Cloudflare. These outages rarely happen but you can check their Cloudflare Status page. Similarly, if an outage was reported there, rest assured that the Infrastructure team is already working on fixing it as their top priority.
- This issue may also occur when your school's School Loop website has been deactivated as per any previous request/s received from the school Principal and/or your District Administrator. If you think that the school site should be activated, then, kindly contact the school Principal and District Administrator first and confirm the case.
If none of the above works, please open a support request, if you have not already done it, and provide details of the problem, URL that you are having problems with, a screenshot of the error if you are seeing any so that our Support team can investigate the problem.
