Overview
A new Teacher has taken over one or more Classes from another Teacher. This Class transfer information has been updated in your Student Information System (SIS) (eg: Infinite Campus) but is not reflected in School Loop. Hence, the new Teacher can login to School Loop but can't see the transferred Classes in their schedule in School Loop.
Solution
This issue can occur if your District's automated import task via sloopy doesn't create a new import, but instead updates the existing imports. Below are the steps that the person in charge of the SIS imports for your school can do to resolve this issue:
- They should verify that the automated task for sloopy is running successfully for your school.
- They can refer to our Troubleshooting Data Import Issues article to see if there are any issues with the SIS imports.
- If the District's automated import setup updates the existing imports (rather than creating new ones), a manual update of the SIS (by running the
sloopy.bat
file manually) can be required to see these updates in School Loop.
