Error: "There are no students in the selected gradebook"

 

Overview

Teachers can encounter the error: "There are no students in the selected gradebook" when viewing a Gradebook whose term/period has ended on the School Loop portal

 

Solution

You are the Teacher of the Course where the issue is seen. Below are steps to extend the Term of the Gradebook to resolve this:

  1. Login to your Teacher School Loop account.
  2. Click Gradebooks followed by Add/Edit Gradebook under the Course for which you want to extend the Gradebook's Term:

  3. Click Edit beside the Gradebook whose Term you want to extend:

  4. Note the End Date for future reference and then change the Set End Date value to a future date (than the current date) and click Submit:

Note: After the data from this Gradebook has been seen/saved, it is recommended to revert the End Date of the Gradebook to what it originally was (before changing it in step 4) to avoid any overlapping of dates and inconsistencies.
