Overview
When Teachers and Students look at the Grades for the same Course, there are differences between the grades as seen by either of them. This article explains why this happens.
Information
- When Teachers look at a Gradebook, the scores of the Students are calculated using the data of published as well as unpublished scores of assignments. These assignments are indicated in the Gradebook using green dot icon and grey cross icon respectively:
- When Students look at their grades for the same Course, those scores shown to them are calculated using only the published scores of the assignments:
- Thus, since the scores are shown using a different set of calculations to Teachers and Students, there is a discrepancy between what is shown to Teachers and Students.
