Teachers want to grade one or more students on a different scale than the other students in a Course. This requirement can come up if the Teachers see these students fit on a different set of criteria for a Course.
- You have access to the School Information System (SIS).
- You are a Teacher of the Course assigned to you where you want to create custom grading.
Below steps should be followed in your School Information System (SIS) -
- Create a new Section in the Course where custom grades are needed.
- Assign the Students to this Section. These are the Students for whom the different grading is required.
This data will then be imported into School Loop. This activity is usually done by the District Admin on a set frequency.
After this data is imported, you can create the new grade scale in School Loop and apply this scale only for the set of Students in the Section where different grading is needed.
The grades of the set of students are seen using the newly created custom grade scale.
