Overview
On tablets and phones, images are displayed at 100% width of the device.
This means that a small image (e.g. 100 pixels wide) will be stretched on a tablet.
This article provides instructions on fixing images that display stretched or blurry in a School Loop central website.
Environment
School Loop Plus, version SLS2
Root Cause
Low-resolution images are uploaded to the website.
Resolution
- Ensure that you start working with a larger image so that blurriness/low image quality do not represent a major issue.
- Initiate with an image around 720 pixels wide - This is a good size which will not cause major issues when scaled up or down.
- The following screenshot is an example of a blurred image whose original size is 100x100 pixels. Such images will always look blurry and poor quality.
Confirmation
Uploading higher resolution images will fix the poor image quality issues on tablets and phones for the School Loop site center website.
