Overview
When more items are added to the menu bar or the navigation section at the top of the School Loop website, the menu bar disappears and is replaced by the drop-down/hamburger menu. This article will show the steps to rearrange the menu so that they can fit in the menu bar and is made visible
Diagnosis
This behavior happens when:
- The School Loop website is opened on a device with a small monitor (e.g., a tablet or a smartphone) - all pages linked in the navigation bar cannot be displayed on the screen.
- There are too many top-level pages/minisites on the School Homepage - they cannot fit into the navigation bar.
- The browser's zoom setting is high and/or the operating system's text-size setting is large.

Prerequisites
You have a School Loop account with Webmaster rights.
Note: If not, you can ask any Webmaster to provide the same rights to you.
Solution
- Log into your School Loop account with Webmaster rights.
- From Toolbox, select Site Center.
Note: If this option is missing, you do not have webmaster rights. - If there are too many top-level items, you can:
- Make titles of pages and minisites more concise so that all names could be displayed in a single row:
- Select the item (page, link) and click Edit; to rename a minisite, you need to click Manage Minisite and click the Cog icon.
- Enter a new shorter title and click Submit.
- Select the item (page, link) and click Edit; to rename a minisite, you need to click Manage Minisite and click the Cog icon.
- Move some links or pages under a minisite or folder. You can create a new minisite if needed.
- Select the page or a link you want to place under a minisite and click Move.
- Select a minisite or folder where you want to place the item and click OK.
The page/link will be displayed in a dropdown when you hover over the minisite name on your School Site.

Confirmation
Once you have moved or renamed top-level items on your site, click Logout.
Your school site homepage is displayed with the Navigation Header.
