As a best practice, parents registered with School Loop should have only one active account at each school. However, parents may add multiple students from the same school within their accounts.
This article shares the steps for admins to delete duplicate accounts for parents as seen in the following screenshots of a student profile and the parent directory:
Follow these steps:
- Log into your School Loop as an Admin.
- Go to User Management > Parents > Parents to see the list of all registered parents.
- Check with the user which account they would like to keep and delete the duplicate ones.
- Click Delete and confirm that the record should be deleted.
Advise the user to check their School Loop account and confirm that the duplicate user no longer exists.
