Overview
Teachers may need to create additional Gradebooks. For example, you have a Gradebook for the Spring semester and you need to divide it into Quarter 3 and Quarter 4 Gradebooks.
Solution
Having separate Gradebooks allows you to apply different configurations for each one, thus also making record keeping and publishing them simpler.
You are a Teacher and you have Courses assigned to you for which you want to add Gradebook/s using the below steps:
- Log in to your Teacher School Loop account.
- Click Gradebooks and select Add/Edit Gradebook under the desired course.
- Click Add New Gradebook.
- On the new page, enter:
- Gradebook Name
- Term Label for Progress Reports
- Start and End Dates - need to be within term dates; to review term dates for your school, click View All Terms.
- Click Submit.
Check that the dates for existing Gradebooks do not overlap. In case they do, then, edit the Gradebook to update the dates.
