Overview
Teachers find that results in their gradebooks are showing as percentages instead of points. This article shares information for teachers to adjust this preference as needed.
Root Cause
The scores are configured to show as percentages in the current view.
Information
School Loop Gradebooks have three modes for showing results:
- Percent
- Locked
- Points
When the mode is set to Percent, cells display students scores as a percentage of the maximum possible score. Cells are not editable in this mode.
When in Locked mode, empty cells are editable, but cells containing scores are not. This helps to prevent accidental score changes.
Process
As a teacher, follow these steps to change the representation of grades from percent to points:
- Log into your School Loop (SL) Plus account as a teacher.
- Go to Gradebooks.
- Select the drop-down menu next to Mode:
- Click on Points, as seen below.
Confirmation
The Gradebook shows all grades as points.
