Overview

This article describes how to add assessments to SchoolLoop's Gradebook after pushing them from Illuminate. It only takes a few moments before scores sent to the Gradebook are ready for processing. Look for the following alert in the right column of the SchoolLoop portal.

Step By Step Guide

1. Click the Assessment import is here! link to view the list of all assessments pending for import to the Gradebook.

2. Click the Add to Gradebook link for the assessment that a teacher wants to import. If the details for any of the pending assessments need to be inspected, just click the title in the Name column.

3. Click the Attach to Assignment button to begin that process once you are satisfied with the details in order to attach the imported scores to an assignment in the Gradebook. The two choices available are to (1) import the scores to an existing assignment or (2) to create a new assignment. Click the appropriate button.

4. If a teacher chooses to create a new assignment, they will be presented with SchoolLoop's new standard assignment form. Complete the form as usual and click the Submit button. If a teacher chooses to attach the scores to an existing assignment, they will be presented with a list of assignments created in the past 10 days. If the desired assignment is not in the list, click the Get older assignments button. Once the correct assignment is found, click the link to the far right of the assignment title.

Confirmation

If this process was completed successfully, all imported assignments will appear in the Gradebook.
