This article aims to provide you with the steps for replacing the redirected pages in our website.
Before, creating a link to an external site in the main navigation menu required embedding a meta tag which redirected the user to the desired site. Unfortunately, this technique is not 508/ADA compliant. These pages need to be removed and replaced with the new link format.
1. Login to your School Loop account and go to Site Center.
2. To remove the old page, click on the page name in the sitemap, then click the Archive button just above the sitemap.
2. Use the Add New menu immediately above the sitemap and select the Link option.
- These links appear in your navigation menu but may point to any external website. In the sitemap, webmasters will see a small "link" icon to distinguish links from pages.
Note: If you create a link (or any page) in the wrong location, click its title in the sitemap and then click the Move button.
Publish or Preview your site, then click the link you replaced to test if it redirects you to the correct page.
