This article shows how to add a news or an event post to a minisite.
The News and events can be added from the portal homepage and the site center. Following are the steps to add News and Events to a minisite:
From the Portal Homepage
Use the Add News button or the menu on the calendar to add a general event. The form for adding a news or event post shows the homepage and all the minisites listed in the Audience section on the left.
From the Site Center
This method allows users to publish news and events for a specific section only:
In the sitemap, click the name of the desired minisite.
Click the Manage Minisite button above the sitemap.
Click the News and Events tab.
Click the Add News or Add Event button as needed.
