A student or parent reported to have received repeated emails in response to an email which they claim not to have sent out by them. It is always the same message responding to a LoopMail that the affected user sent out. The issue seems more like a spam email.
Any Mobile App School Loop user, iOS or Android.
This was a bug in School Loop mobile application that was fixed already with messages getting stuck in the outbox.
The student or parent should do the following from the mobile application:
- Tap LoopMail.
- Tap the small down arrow to the right of Inbox at the top of the screen.
- Tap Outbox.
- Tap the X icon to get rid of it.
Also, the student or parent should get the latest version of the mobile app to prevent this from happening again. (3.2.0 is the latest version.)
Downloading the latest version of the Mobile App should remove the repeat emails.
