This article shows how to resolve the issue of parents not receiving the daily homework feed via email.
Any email account or email client.
Misconfigured email preferences or issue with email provider blocking School Loop.
Once the parent account has been approved by the school, the parent will receive a daily homework email from our system. If they are not receiving the daily email, please check the following:
- Click Settings in the upper right corner of your portal homepage and make sure that the flag on Receive Daily Email is set to Yes.
- Advise the user to check their spam or junk folder in their email account to make sure that the daily email messages are not getting caught by the spam filter.
- If neither of the above works, advise the parent to submit a support ticket so that the issue may be investigated from the back end.
Support Agent Action
Check the email trace log using the Strong mail lookup tool. If messages are not delivered, then check if School Loop is blocked by the email provider. Report the issue to the engineering team to investigate.
If the issue was successfully resolved, the next daily email will arrive regularly.
