Overview
Teachers need to save or export lessons, assignments, files and other course content at the end of the year, or when moving to another school.
The following content is archived after the end of the school year and can be downloaded:
- Assignments
- Notes
- Files in Lockers
- Published Progress reports
Prerequisites
- You have a teacher account.
- The school year for which you want to download course content is already over and the new school year is about to start. The content is usually archived approximately 10 days before the start of a new school year.
Note: To check when is the end of the school year, click Gradebooks > Add/Edit Gradebook for any course - the end date of the school year is displayed as highlighted below.
Solution
- Log in to your School Loop account.
- From Toolbox, select Course Archives.
All courses for previous years are displayed. - Click Download Course Content under the required course.
- You can also review content that is archived by clicking on Assignments, Notes, Locker, or Progress Reports links.
Links are available only for the content that was added to the course during the year and has been archived (in this example, only Locker content is available).
- You can also review content that is archived by clicking on Assignments, Notes, Locker, or Progress Reports links.
Confirmation
Once you completed step 3, the file is opened or saved on your computer (depending on your browser settings). The archive contains all files from the course locker, that you can review by opening the archive and selecting the corresponding file; assignments, notes, and progress reports are archived in XML format - you will need to upload the whole archive into another course to review the content in a user-friendly format.
