Overview
You, as an admin, need to check account history for a user: when they logged in last time, which IP was used when sending a message, when the account was updated, which users logged in from the same device. These logs can be used to confirm if a user is able to log in, investigate inappropriate messages sent by students, etc.
Prerequisites
You need to have an Admin or Principal account.
Solution
- Log into School Loop.
- Search for the required user by entering their name or email in the Member Search field and clicking Go.
- Click View Account next to the required user.
- On the user account page, select one of the following options:
- Account History - Shows all actions performed to the account (updated, blocked, password changed) including date and time, the user who performed the changes, machine ID, and IP address from which the changes were made.
- User History - Shows all actions performed by the user, including time, machine ID, and IP address from which the action was performed.
Additionally, from the User History page, you can click Research Machine next to the desired activity to review all users who used this device and what actions they performed.
- Account History - Shows all actions performed to the account (updated, blocked, password changed) including date and time, the user who performed the changes, machine ID, and IP address from which the changes were made.
