Overview
Admins and webmasters may need to delete links to pages, folders, or minisites from the Navigation Bar on the School or District site.
Prerequisites
You need to have webmaster rights.
Solution
Once logged in to School Loop, select Site Center from the Toolbox.
- To delete a Page or a Link, select the required top-level item and click Archive.
If you click Unpublish, it will also be removed from the school site but will remain visible in the Site Center.
Note: Archived pages and minisites can be restored. - To remove a minisite or folder you need to archive or move all pages that are located under the folder/minisite first.
- Expand the required minisite or folder.
- Select a child page and click:
- Move - to place the page under another folder or minisite.
- Archive - to delete the page.
Repeat this step for each page under the minisite.
- Select the Minisite or Folder from which you removed all pages and click Archive.
- Confirm that you want to archive the item.
- Expand the required minisite or folder.
Confirmation
Open your school homepage - you can click on the school name at the top of the portal.
The archived item is no longer displayed in the Navigation Bar. In this example, we archived Demo Minisite, which is now removed.
