This guide provides information on how to use your Site Center tools to build and structure your site.
Your Site Center page allows you to manage the structure of your site. You can add new pages and folders, delete pages, and more.
Adding pages and sections
When you first create your site, you will have only a Home page. To add new pages and folders:
- Go to your Site Center.
- Select your Home page (or the folder in which you'd like the new page, link, or folder to appear).
- Click Add New and make your selection.
You'll see options to create a Page, Link, Navigation Header, Minisite, or Hidden Folder.
A Page is an individual webpage onto which you can post content. You would add modules to a page to post text, links, tables, calendars, and much more.

Allows you to create an entry in your navigation menu that leads directly to an external site. You will enter a title for a link, and a URL for the link destination. If you wish, you can set the link to open in a new window.
A Minisite is a folder which contains pages. A Minisite can have its own News and Events, and includes the option to assign editing rights to Editors and Contributors. (Editors can update pages directly; Contributors can post updates which must be approved by the webmaster before appearing.)
Similar to a Minisite, but without the "smart" options of a Minisite (adding News, Events, Editors, etc.). This option would be used if you'd just like to structure pages within a folder, without any extra features.
If you're not sure whether to create a Minisite or a Navigation Header, we recommend you choose a Minisite. You'll then have the option to use the extra Minisite options if you wish.
A hidden folder is a folder that does not display in your site's navigation menu. Any pages or minisites you create within the folder will also be hidden.
Allows you to create pages that can only be accessed through a link you set up on a particular page.

Managing pages and sections
The structure of your pages and sections will determine how they appear in your site's navigation bar.
Moving and nesting pages
Minisites, Navigation Headers, and Hidden Folders are folders which can contain Pages, Links, and other folders.
To move pages up and down on the SAME folder level, click and drag the three orange dots that appear to the left when you hover over a page or folder.
To move an item into a DIFFERENT folder level, select the item and click the Move button.

Deleting and undeleting pages
To delete a page, select the page and click the Archive button.
To restore a deleted page, go to Tools, look for the Undelete Pages and Minisites option, then click View List.

Restore previous version of a page
You can restore any previous update to a page. To do this, select the page, then click More Tools and select History.

When working with a Page or Navigation Header, look for a gear symbol in the toolbar:
This will allow you to edit the Page Properties. (This is the same window you see when creating the page.) If you wish, you can change the column layout, and choose a setup with or without a nav bar.
For a Minisite, the gear icon will appear in the Manage Minisite section (see below). For a Link, you would click the Edit button to edit the link.
When you select a Minisite, you will see a Manage Minisite button.
When you click this button, you will reach a display that is similar to the Site Center, but is specific to the selected Minisite. The News & Events, Locker, and Tools tabs will now display options specific to that Minisite.

News and Events
The News and Events tab is one of several areas of your site where you can post News and Events.
News items are announcements that are published with a start and end date. Events are events tied to a particular calendar date (or set of dates).

The Lockers tab allows you to manage files uploaded to your site.
Each Minisite has its own folder for locker files, and you can create new folders as needed. Files under a minisite will be available to that minisite.
Locker files can be posted to your site's pages using the Locker Module, as well as any module that can create hyperlinks.
The Tools tab provides access to additional site maintenance tools and other miscellaneous items, including options to Undelete archived pages, Publish or Unpublish your site, add or remove Webmasters, and more.
