To start, go to the Admin Center and make sure you’re on the Sites tab.
Select a school site by clicking on the the name of the school and then click the Login to Site button. A new browser tab will open. You are now logged into the Site Center for that school. Note that the Site Center for schools is identical to the Site Center on the district site.
Choose Homepage Template
Click the Tools tab to access the Select button for choosing a homepage template.
Preview the various homepage templates by selecting one from the menu on the left and then use the preview icons at the top right. Once you decided, make sure you desired options is highlighted before clicking the Select button.
Convert to SLS2
Now that you have a homepage template selected for your school site, head back to the Tools tab and you’ll now find a Convert button to copy your current site over to SLS2. Conversion can take anywhere from a minute to an hour or more. The conversion time depends on the number of files that need to be copied over as well as the number of pages.
Once the conversion process is done, go back to the Pages tab in Site Center to see them. Click the folder icon to see inside.
Homepage to Publishing
The process for building the homepage all the way through publishing is the same as for the district site. Just repeat the process until you’ve converted all your sites over to SLS2.
