From your portal homepage
Use the Add News button or the menu on the calendar to add a general event. In the form for adding your news or event, you'll see the homepage and all minisites listed in the Audience section on the left.
From the Site Center
This method allows you to publish news and events for a specific section only.
- In the site map, click the name of a mini-site.
- Click the Manage Minisite button above the site map. This will drill you into that specific section.
- Now click the News and Events tab.
- Click the Add News or Add Event button.
